Quarter one at OCSLA has come to a close and quarter two is well under way!
Here’s a little recap of what quarter one looked like ...
Service Learning activities included work days at Mount Tabor Park and Wilkes Creek Headwaters where students spread mulch on trails and helped with the removal of invasive plants as well as a fun trip to Bauman’s Farm and Pumpkin Patch.
Project Based Internship groups had the opportunity to participate in escape rooms (a game in which a team of players cooperatively discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks in one or more rooms in order to progress and accomplish a specific goal).
After School Programs included a new-this-year Music Club, Anime Club and Aquarium Club.
OCSLA’s first ever Volleyball team took the court, had some fun and had some wins!
We look forward to what quarter two will bring and can’t wait to see students participating in more awesome programs here at OCSLA!
